What automatic Motability car would you recommend?

A family member has been awarded enhanced motability and would like some advice. They have chosen 4 automatic cars based on what they like (Ford Focus, Mazda 2, Renault Megane and Volkswagen Golf), what do you recommend?

The Mazda 2 1.5 6-speed torque converter auto is the smallest and the nicest of all of these. Mazda also does a CX-3 which is a bit higher off the ground and might suit them better.
