How reliable is the Nissan Qashqai 1.2 DIG?

I was thinking of getting a Nissan Qashqai 1.2 DIG to replace my old Mk1 SEAT Leon TDI. I cover 10,000 miles a year; however, the reliability issues of the 1.2 engines have put me off, is that rational?

The best way to get one and to save about £7000 is to get a Dacia Duster 1.2 TCe 125, from £12,895, or the 4WD version, from £14,895. It's basically the same as a Qashqai, but cheaper, and tougher. The 1.2 is a Renault engine. Had a few reports of problems in Qashqais, but it doesn't seem to be a general problem.

I can't decide between the Toyota RAV4 petrol hybrid or the Mazda CX-5 diesel. Both appear to be great cars. Can you please give your opinion on which one should I go for?
