Will my MINI Cooper really depreciate by £1200 whilst I wait for my new Audi?

An Audi dealer says that if I want to trade in my 2005 MINI Cooper with 25,500 miles on the clock now, he will give me £6500 now (July 2010). However, as the Audi I want to buy won't be available until November 2010, he said my MINI would depreciate by £1200. He has therefore made an offer of £5250. Would it really depreciate by £1200 in four months?

That's probably right. But check with www.drivethedeal.com to see if they can get the Audi sooner.
