EGR valve failure on Volkswagen Golf

I have just paid £1365 to have a new set of EGR Valves fitted to my 2012 Golf Estate 1.6 TDI. Both the dealer and Volkswagen customer care refused help with the costs. I find this unreasonable given that my car has a full dealer service history and has only covered 46,000 miles. Can you tell me if you know of a legal firm bringing a class action against Volkswagen for EGR Valves?

That is outrageous, particularly bearing in mind that the hardware and software update for the EA189 1.6TDI has not yet begun. A class action over this whole issue is being handled by www.leighday.co.uk/Illness-and-injury/Defective-pr.../
