What do you think of the new Skoda Fabia Elegance 1.2 TSI 105bhp 7 spd DSG?

I am considering purchasing a new Skoda Fabia 1.2 TSI automatic for my wife. I understand that they will be available in a few months time. Could you please advise me of the technical specification and advise what you think of it? The OTR price in the brochure is shown as £13,850 and the dealer is offering to reduce this by the VAT figure of £1980 and is asking £11,870. Are there any other cars at this price range that would be better for her?

I haven't driven a 7 speed DSG with the 1.2TSI 105, but have with the old 1.4 engine in a Polo. You are getting the benefit of Skoda's 'free VAT' offer and this is quite a good deal.
