SEAT Ibiza problems

My son has a 2012 SEAT Ibiza. Last week the fan blower started playing up. It works at position four, but refuses to work on any other setting. I have changed the pollen filter and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Yes, the motor is worn out. Do not mess about with the resistor because this is what caused the fires in Vauxhall Zafiras. Needs a new fan motor and a new resistor.
