Can you recommend an MPV that won't give me DPF problems?

I have a Ford C-Max 1.6 diesel which was bought new in 2007, serviced regularly, and has now done 112,000 miles with virtually no trouble. I am now looking to change it for another diesel, possibly the 1.5 TDCI engine used in the current C-Max and other cars.

My own car has a DPF filter and has not given me any problems with 90 per cent of my journeys being 10 miles or more. Is the DPF different in the Euro 6 engines or can I expect the same trouble free experience I have had with my C-Max?

If your 2007 had the Eolys system you would have been aware of that because the Eolys reservoir would have needed to be refilled once or twice in 112,000 miles. I would now be thinking of a switch to petrol, and the best small turbo petrol in an MPV is Peugeot/Citroen's 1.2 Puretech 130 in the C4 Picasso that is capable of a realistic 45mpg.
