Honda CR-V won't change gear

I bought my 2005 Honda CR-V about six months ago and it has 85k on the clock. When the engine is hot, the gearbox is very difficult to engage gears when changing down. When engine cold, not much of a problem, although a bit notchy. I changed gearbox oil which seemed to make it easier for a short while only. Any ideas what could be wrong?

You could try a transmission oil additive, but this reads as if you have worn transmission shaft bearings. Normally you'd hear that.
