Buying a four-seater sports car - any suggestions?

I'm looking for a car with a V6 or a V8 that sounds great. Fuel economy is not an issue.
I previously had a Nissan 350Z but because it had two seats it didn't get as much use as I hoped. Any suggestions you could make for a reliable sporty saloon with a growling engine?
My budget is £10,000 and I've considered the Audi S4, Jaguar XK as the kind of thing to go for but unsure about their reliability and in the jags case the legroom at the back!
