Peugeot/Citroen touch screen

Hi there. I own a Citroen Cactus, which I'm generally very pleased with. However, I'm experiencing a specific problem with the electronic control unit which deals with the heater, music, mobile phone etc. The message "multimedia system is temporarily unavailable" keeps being displayed - it comes on constantly when I'm driving. It impacts on being able to use the bluetooth function - the phone disconnects, the heater goes from hot to cold without any input from me,I can't alter the fan speed. It also impacts on being able to change music source. Have you had any similar issues from other Cactus drivers - is there a design fault? Thanks for your help.

First report of this on the Cactus, Peugeot 308 or other PSA cars similarly equipped. I ran a 308 with the same system for a year with no trouble. You clearly do have trouble. So back to the dealer to fix it or replace the car. John Slavin is currently running one for us on our Long-Term fleet. Check his regular reports.
