winter tyres in warm weather

Good morning
A month ago I changed to winter tyres. Since then the temperature has hardly dropped below 12 and has often exceeded it when, for winter tyres, it should be 7 or below. As the tyres are presumably soft should one put in an extra 2 psi or so of pressure to harden them up a bit. The car is used mainly for local town trips but I will be on the M23 this weekend. Is 70 mph ok for these tyres or should I reduce it for the duration of the warm weather.

The huge advantage of winter tyres when there isn't any snow is the softer compound that give a better ride and less road noise, with no fuel economy penalty. If you increase the pressures you will lose those advantages. No problem doing 70. I've done 130 on Pirelli Sotto Zeros in Germany.
