Which 7-seat small MPV?

I am bewilderd by the choice of small MPVs (capable of carrying five plus two). I'm considering the Ford S-Max, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, Peugeot 5008 or Volkswagen Touran. All seem to fit in the £20-25,000 range (in diesel, manual, medium-level spec). I'm interested in cost-effectiveness, economy and durability, rather than outright performance. Advice please?

The C4 Grand Picasso and Peugeot 5008, both with the 1.6HDI engine, are the lowest CO2 and most economical. The S-Max is the sportiest to drive. The 5008 is very 'pleasant' to drive. The Touran is starting to get long in the tooth.
