Can I sell my daughter's car without her present to sign anything?

My daughter moved away from home a while back and has no need for her car (which now lives on our drive). She has asked me to sell it on her behalf, which I'm happy to do but want to check the legalities and correctness of doing this. Is it sufficient for me to have the registration document pre-signed by her as the keeper (seller) or should I be expected to have any other type of documentation to show prospective buyers, i.e, a 'letter of authorisation' or similar from her to execute this transaction?

The registered keeper will have to sign the relevant section of the V5C. Better to dispose of it using www.sure-sell.info
