Replacing Tyres on Honda S2000

I have a 2005 Honda S2000 (27k miles / garaged), which I have owned from new. The front tyres are original. The rear tyres were changed 5 years ago or more. I have decided that the front tyres should now be changed (at 10 years old) regardless of tread. Would you recommend changing the rear now they are 5+ years? The tread is OK (I only do about 2k miles a year). What tyres would give the smoothest ride? When the rear tyres were changed, I noticed that the ride was not as smooth afterwards. Many thanks.

I'd be looking at soft and grippy tyres such as Yokohamas. More comfort and better steering feel.
