Buying a 2005 BMW - what should I look out for?

I'm thinking of buying a 2005 BMW 3 Series 2.0 diesel for £3000. The car is an automatic and has 3000 miles on the clock. Is there anything I should look out for?

Could be okay. Interesting that the vendor has emphasised the ICE above anything else. Won't do 50mpg everyday. Here's what to watch out for: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/bmw/3-series-e90-200...d
