Petrol or diesel Mazda6?

I only do around 9,000 miles per year and I'm looking at a petrol version of the Mazda 6. Much more choice with the diesel versions. Are these diesels susceptible to low mileage particulate filter problems, please?

So far, no, and the technology should prevent this because the exhaust manifold is incorporated into the cylinder head and the turbo bolted directly to it, with the DPF next to that, ensuring maximum heat and maximum efficiency. 14,000 mile test of Mazda 6 2.2 Skyactic D SE-L Nav auto here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/our-cars/mazda-6-22d-se-l-nav.../
