Why won't my Toyota Rav4 start?

Around a month ago the engine of my diesel Toyota Rav4 (2009 model) was replaced under warranty (known fault/head gasket). Since then it has had in intermittent problem with starting.

It turns over fine but the engine does not 'catch'. On two occasions it has taken 15/20 minutes to get the car started.

It has been back to the dealership twice and they can see a problem, but can't find a solution to it due to its intermittent nature. I am picking the car up today with the problem still unresolved. The car is under Toyota extended warranty. What should I do?

Might be a small air leak into the fuel system that was disturbed when the replacement engine was fitted. This can cause starting problems, but otherwise the engine runs fine. If eventual starting is accompanies by smoke then could be a duff glowplug.
