Audi Q5 Tfsi oil consumption - can this be right?

I bought Audi Q5 2.0 TFSi 06/2011, and from the first day it use aprox 1L of oil every 1500km sometimes even less. When I first went on service because of the low oil, after just 2500km when I got the car, service told me that this is normal for this car. I had 5 cars before, and not even one used any oil during service interval (15000km). Now two year Audi warranty is over, and I have dealer extended warranty for 5 more months. Is this oil consumption normal? I complained few times and they did oil consumption test were I succeeded to pass 1300km until I need top up.

Yes, this oil consumption is normal for the VAG 2.0TFSI engine even though it is totally unacceptable. The fault was cured with the introduction of the EA888 2.0TFSI engine in early 2014.
