Petrol in a diesel Focus - how much damage has been done?

I went to pick up a Ford Focus 2012 diesel from the garage only to find it had been filled it up with three gallons of petrol. It went for five miles then refused to start.

The garage has taken it away and agreed to re-fill with petrol and compensate me with a free MoT next year. My worry is the damage that has done to the car. What should I do?

Massive damage to the fuel injection pump. If the car stopped working, it needs a new injection pump and new injectors: about £3000 worth.
