Is the Skoda Felicia reliable?

I'm moving to Exeter for university in September and want to buy a used car for general use and the long journey back to Manchester every few months - would a 1995 Skoda Felicia fit the bill in terms of reliability or would age count against it?

Old and not particularly reliable. Most have been scrapped. If someone is giving you one for £50, okay. It's worth that in scrap. But don't deliberately seek one out: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/skoda/felicia-1995/
