Should I buy a Mazda 3 on 0 per cent finance?

Having tested a Mazda 3 2.2 diesel I was planning to buy the vehicle outright from Perry's. However, they have offered 0 per cent finance based on paying half the cost of the car upfront, and this is on an already discounted price. I am keen to accept the finance, but are there any drawbacks?

What are your prospects of paying it off? If extremely solid I can't see a reason not to go for this. Buy some GAP insurance from an independent insurance broker. The dealer will probably try to sell it to your for about £350. From an independent it should be about £100.
