How cold should my air con get?

I have a Ford Fiesta which has air conditioning. How effective should it be as it doesn't get very cold in the summer months.

Either it blows cold or it doesn't. If it doesn't then the most likely reason is that it has lost gas because the seals have deteriorated from the a/c not being used enough (the lubricants are suspended in the refrigerant). A regas by an a/c specialist costs about £60, but may only be the start. Don't get it done by anyone other than a specialist.
