Does the C-Max have a CVT gearbox?

I had a bad experience with a CVT auto after the transmission failed. I am now about to buy a 2009 model Ford C-Max 2.0 petrol auto, but I couldn't find out whether or not it is a CVT transmission. Could you tell me if it has a CVT gearbox and any other problems I should be aware of?

No. That has a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Later C-Maxes have the Getrag Powershift 6-speed auto. For everything else on the C-Max, see the car by car entry, here:

I am thinking of buying a 2013 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI DSG. The dealer tells me it is a six-speed wet clutch DSG with a sealed box. Does this description sound correct to you?
