Buying a used 3 Series- which model is best?

Assuming all other factors are equal (condition, service history, etc) which would be the better buy?

A 2001 BMW 330 Ci Sport with 69,000 miles at £4000 or a 2003 BMW 325 Ci Sport with 91,000 miles at £3295?

The 325i is not a very nice drive. Heavy six-cylinder engine over the front wheels without the power. The 330CI is much stronger.
