What are the correct tyre pressure values for a Citroen C4?

I have just bought a 2007 Citroen C4 Picasso and cna't work out the correct tyre pressures. It says on the door panel different pressures for this model from 3.4 bar downwards, but it's in French and I cannot understand which I should use.
My car has 215/55 tyres on 16-inch wheel and is used only with one passenger and no load in boot. At the moment the tyres are set to 2.5 bar - is this correct?

3.4 bar is for fully laden. 2.5 bar is for lightly laden, as you describe that it is. But for a long run fully laden you need to increase the pressures, particularly at the rear.
