Can you recommend an air conditioning specialist to repair my daughter's Honda Jazz?

My daughter has a Jazz that is about six years old. The air conditioning stopped working except if she drove at very high speed. It has been back to the Honda main dealer now about four or five times for this problem, and they have re-gassed it each time. Afterwards it works OK for about two days. They cannot find a leak and now tell her it will cost £1000 to fix but with no guarantee of success. They have also said it will work if she keeps the revs up above 2500rpm. Is this a known problem? Do you know of anyone in the Camberley area who really knows about air conditioning systems?

It reads like the electromagnetic clutch to the pump rather than the pump itself. A proper a/c specialist will be able to replace just the clutch. A dealer will ask £1000 to replace the whole pump. Use the FAQ to find an a/c specialist.
