Dealership has crashed my parents motorhome

My parents recently bought a Hymer motor home. It was their dream motor home but when it went to the dealership for a damp check after only owning it for just one month, the dealership drove it without their knowledge or consent. During this drive it was involved in an crash with a third party.

As my parents were not driving the vehicle, they are not being represented by any insurer and no one is acting on their behalf. As a result, it is difficult for them to know if they are receiving a good quality repair. What should they do?

Stuff the insurance company. Sue the garage that wrecked the camper directly for the loss using the small claims track of the county court.
