My Honda Accord's engine has blown. Is it worth repairing?

My Honda has blown its engine. As far I know a piston snapped resulting in the engine seizing. Just before this happened, I smelt car fumes in the car, then heard a tapping noise coming from the engine. Before I could stop, it cut out, and evidently blew the oil cap off and chucked out all its oil onto the motorway. It still turns over but it doesn't fire. Is it repairable and/or is it worth repairing? If it isn't, what can is the best thing to do with it? I did find a company which buys non-runners and they offered me £750. Is this a fair price?

Whether it's repairable is impossible to say by e-mail. I think it's worth more than £750. What does Honda say about the matter? It might even be prepared to offer some goodwill.
