How can I refill a modern car with fuel can?

I have always carried a reserve supply five-litre can of diesel on journeys in the remoter parts of the Scottish Highlands and Islands where there are fewer and fewer fuel stations.

However, the fuel tank aperture of my new Audi A3 Sportback will not allow the insertion of a pourer or filler. Is there anyway to get around this?

Yes, there is a funnel gizmo designed to open misfuel prevention apertures. Comes as standard with Ford Rangers. I guess so many cars ow have misfuel prevention devices that Halfords must stock something.
