NCB lost due to fraudulent insurance claim - what can I do?

In November 2013, my wife was involved in an accident, a fellow driver drove into the rearside of our car and as a result wrote our car off. We were given funds from our insurance company to replace the car and we have a witness to support our story. Our insurance company is currently dealing with the matter, which may go to court.

However until the issued has been resolved our car insurance premium has been increased and my wife’s no claims bonus has been reduced from eight to two years. Should the driver who hit our car be found at fault, will we be able to claim back our eight years NCB?

If you don't get all your losses back, sue the other driver for them directly using www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
