Would a 2000 S500 Mercedes-Benz be a good purchase and where can I get a warranty?

I am retired on the Isle of Wight and cover a small mileage. Petrol consumption is not an issue and I am not short of a bob or two. I am thinking of purchasing a 2000 S500 Mercedes-Benz, one owner, 49,000 miles, full Mercedes-Benz Service. What do you think? If yes, who would it be best to purchase a warranty from?

That sounds a very nice car, especially if it has such low miles for the year and a full Mercedes-Benz service history. A warranty would certainly be a worthwhile purchase as Mercs can be expensive to repair.

Someone like Warranty Direct would be a good place to start ( www.warrantydirect.co.uk/ ) but it's worth shopping around to get the best package.
