My Nissan Note NTEC's CD player keeps jumping - what could be causing that?

I bought my Nissan Note NTEC last year. I've had continuous intermittent problems with the CD player / sat nav unit. The CDs I put in the player keep jumping. The unit was changed and I've even driven a new model and tried the CD player, but the problem remains. The dealership thought it was something to do with the Bluetooth but I've turned the Bluetooth off and I still have the problem. Can you help?

I've never heard of this before and have no suggestions. If this is happening with legal UK purchased CDs then it is Nissan's problem. If it is happening with your own recordings then it's probably down to the discs.
