Will Vauxhall pay to fix my old Corsa?

I own a 2000 Vauxhall Corsa. Do you know if Vauxhall has ever admitted to a water ingress build fault with this model?

I bought my car last year and have noticed that water has started to leak into the driver’s footwell and the repairs are quite costly. Can I ask Vauxhall to pay for the repairs or contribute some money as a goodwill gesture?

No, they have refused to. But they are not liable for cars more than 6 years old anyway.
