Civic has a squeaky clutch?

The clutch pedal on my Honda Civic 1.8 I-Vtec makes a squeaking/creaking noise when the clutch pedal is depressed and raised. There is no clutch judder or signs of slip, it is just a squeak from the pedal.

The car is approved used purchased from a Honda dealer last week. I will be taking the car back to the dealer but want to know as much information as I can as if they just grease the pedal I would like to know if this is a suitable solution or if a part needs replacing.

Might just be the pedal mechanism. You can check the brake fluid level for yourself to make sure it has not fallen.
