Recommend an MPV which can easily carry a family and luggage?

My daughter is considering replacing her Volkswagen Golf 1.6 with a larger, more powerful car that will take two child seats and an adult in the back and has enough space for either a folding wheelchair or the luggage associated with a family with two small children. So far she has test driven the Volkswagen Touran and the Nissan Qashqai. What would you recommend? She would expect to trade in her 7-year-old Golf and top it up with £15,000-£20,000.

There is not enough width in the second row seats of a Touran or a Qashqai (or a C-Max or a Mazda 5) to comfortably fit an adult and two child seats. I suggest a new Citroen C4 Picasso, which has three separate back seats, each with ISOFIX tethers and a big, deep 537 litre load compartment.
