Should I buy an ex-rental Nissan Acenta?
I was offered a Nissan Acenta 1.5 diesel, seven months old, 11,600 miles at £13,900. They agreed a good price for my old Jeep, unseen. This “great deal" made me suspicious and, after further probing, the Nissan dealer admitted that the car was "Nissan Approved" but was ex-contract. Would you buy such a vehicle and if so would it blight the re-sale value further down the line?

Most cars for sale at this age are ex-rental. No problem. No blight. And far better run in than most 'one owner' cars. Hirers don't wreck cars these days because of the dire financial consequences. 'The fastest car is a rental car' is a very old and out-dated joke. They still have to go past speed cameras and a hirer is liable for any speeding fines.
