How can camper van owners avoid problems from little use?

Regarding your reply concerning a laid up camper van and resulting slipped cambelt, what advice can you offer owners of camper vans regularly laid up for long periods to avoid such mishaps?

Do not lay the vehicles up. Use them regularly. That is the only way round this problem.
