Would you recommend I buy a Mini Cooper Convertible on 16-inch wheels?

I am thinking of buying a Mini Cooper Convertible, but it is fitted with 17-inch wheels with 45 profile runflat tyres. I am more interested in comfort rather than performance. Would you recommend 15-inch 65 profile or 16-inch 55 profile wheels and tyres?

The 16-inch wheels are okay but, of course, with more rubber between the rims and the road, 15s are more comfortable still. 17-inch wheels are pointless on a Cooper. Maybe necessary on a JCW, but not on a plain Cooper. They're just 'bling'.
