Which new luxury car is a good deal at the moment?

I have been looking at purchasing a new, luxurious compact car (e.g. Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, etc.) In the light of the present economic conditions, what would be a reasonable discount to expect?

Too much of an open-ended question. The answer is "whatever you can negotiate". Cars are rarely in oversupply these days. The only bargains are cancelled orders, or ex-demos. But now and again a manufacturer may find itself with a clutch of cars and will discount them for the sake of cash flow. The desirable new car in this category is the new Lexus IS300h at £30,000 and under 100g/km CO2.
