Which tyres should I fit to my Skoda Yeti's 17-inch wheels for the best ride comfort?

I followed your excellent advice and fitted 205/55 winter tyres on 7J 16-inch wheels (all supplied balanced etc by Mytyres at an excellent price) to my 4x4 DSG Yeti. The ride improvement was huge. Now I am about to re-fit the standard 17-inch alloy rims with 225/50 summer tyres. Those tyres will soon need replacing and are there any better profile options for these rims that would provide the same ride comfort as the winter wheels?

No. You would have to go down to 16s and fit 205/55 R16 summer tyres. www.tyremen.co.uk do a TUV-approved set for £335.
