Can we fit three child seats across the back of a KIA Sportage or Hyundai ix35?

Our 2008 Toyota Verso is reliable, safe and boring. Would we get three children’s car seats across the back of a KIA Sportage/ix35 (as we can in the Verso) or would we need an enormous Sorrento/Santa Fe? Is there anything to pick between the Kia and the Hyundai, bar the warranty? I think that they are essentially the same car.

I don't know if three seats will fit across. If not you can buy a 3-child seat conversion from multimac.co.uk/home. Yes, under the skin the Sportage and ix35 are pretty much the same. Both have full size spare wheels. Some people prefer the shape of the Sportage, some prefer the ix35. If buying used, the ix35 came first.
