Will you promote our Route 60+ events for older drivers?
I work as a Road Safety officer for Somerset County Council and the team here are all ex-Fire Service and Police Class 1 response drivers/motorcyclists, as well as being qualified RoSPA tutors and assessors. We run educational and practical courses for all types of road users - details at www.somersetroadsafety.org.
Our Route 60+ event travels to local parishes across the County and delivers a morning of road safety education for the more mature driver and is designed to help keep them safe on the road. The sessions include eyesight and blood pressure tests driver reaction times simulator, an hour long presentation by road safety trainers and attendees can sign for an hour long free assessment drive by a qualified ADI instructor who will come to their home address.

I'm always happy to promote this sort of thing when we have the space.
