Is it fair that I have to book time off work to do a CPC course?

My boss is saying a need to book holiday to do a CPC course. Is that correct?

That's a bit harsh, but it depends on your employer and your contract of employment. Every hour you are on the Certificate of Professional Competence courses is an hour of your professional driving lost to your employer. And you have to do 35 hours of periodic training every five years to keep your Driver CPC. More at: www.gov.uk/driver-cpc-training-courses
