Has any other manufacturer copied the Honda Jazz magic rear seats? If not, why not?

Has any other manufacturer copied the Honda Jazz magic rear seats? If not, why not? Are they patented?

Do any small cars have removable rear seats?

Also, how are the VW TSI engines performing. Are they proving reliable?

No because they can't because Honda patented it. It involves a completely different floor from other hatchbacks with the fuel tank placed under the drivers seat instead of the rear seat. Civics have it too.

No word on reliability of EA211 belt cam VAG TSIs yet. There were problems with the chain cam 1.4TSIs, mostly with the twincharger versions. See the various entries in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar
