2004 Mazda 3 - keep or sell?

My 2004 Mazda 3 1.6 HDI with 121,000 miles has been great apart from the nightmare engine. A new crankshaft sensor, new turbo and associated parts and recently the turbo boost solenoid have all been fitted. After all the money I have put into the car, should I move it on or keep it?

I do roughly 15-18 thousand miles a year. If I change the car, what do you recommend I buy?

Probably just keep on giving trouble. This engine was bad in the 2004-2008 Focus. I'd get rid, but be prepared for some low bids. Replace with a Kia cee'd 1.6CRDI, Hyundai i30 21.6CRDI, Honda Civic 1.6CTDI, Mazda 3 2.2 Skyactiv D 150.
