Car has wrong specification - what can I do?

Three weeks ago bought an ex-demo Toyota Prius from a Toyota dealer that was advertised as having heated seats included within the specification. I specifically asked about this at the point of sale and the salesman informed me that this was typo and that heated seats were not available as standard fit or as an accessory.

You can imagine my surprise when I received some marketing mail from the dealer offering a special deal to have heated seats fitted as an aftermarket option. What is the best way pursue this given the misrepresentation that was made when I was sold the car?

Before you bought the car the dealer came clean and told you of the mistake in the ad so there was no misrepresentation. After you bough the car the feature became available as a retro-fit and because he knew you wanted this feature the dealer informed you of this. If you want the heated seats you can now pay to have them fitted.
