BMW 3 Series or Audi A3?

I’m in the process of buying a used car and have been offered a 2013 BMW 320d for £26,850, with leather, sat nav and 6000 miles on the clock. Do you think this is a good deal, or should I buy a Audi A3 Saloon 1.4 TSI?

As long as you don't do repeated short runs from cold and as long as most of your mileage is long distance, go the the 320dED.

I averaged a true 63mpg in one over 8,000 miles, which included last winter.
