Where can I get a spare wheel for my 2006 BMW 5 Series?

I have purchased a 2006 BMW 520D Auto with normal tyres, not runflats. There is a cigarette lighter-powered compressor and a can of gunk in the boot, but I broke my cigarette lighter trying to get the compressor connected. I just couldn't get the thing to work. I want the security of a spare wheel in the boot. Where can I buy an emergency spare from? I would have thought that the breaker sites would have them but I get negative responses. Would it be possible (safe) to find and use a slimmer 'normal' wheel rather than the 60psi 'pram wheels'? Also, do you have any preferences for brands of diesel to use or avoid?

I don't know why you get negative response from breaker sites. All you need is a wheel the same as the road wheels on the car, a kit to tie it down and a jack and wheel brace.
