Steering malfunction on Ford S-Max - what are my rights?

I have a 2011 Ford S-Max that I purchased in April 2012 from a main dealership. Since July 2013 the car has been suffering with a "Steering Malfunction" message, which renders the car unusable. I have had the car recovered six times now and on each occasion Ford claims to fix it under warranty. What are my rights (if any) with regards to getting a permanent resolution to this issue?

Your only rights are against the dealer that originally sold you the car.
