Can you recommend a reliable 4x4 for £5000?

We have a small farm and need to buy a used 4x4. It must to be reliable, versatile and able to cope with deeply rutted tracks in winter weather. We’d prefer a diesel, but fuel economy is not important. Land Rover seems the obvious choice, but could you recommend something else for £5000?

Land Rovers are comparatively expensive because of the enthusiasts market. You could go for a Shogun or Pajero. But a pick-up makes the most sense. The best is a 2007-2012 Isuzu Rodeo 2.5 I-TEQ, but might be over budget. Toyota Hi-Lux reliable apart from needing regular cambelt changes.

I want to buy a new 4x4, which would you recommend? I'm thinking of a Range Rover Sport 3.0 Diesel or Porsche Cayenne 3.0 Diesel. The car will rarely go off road.
I am looking to buy a reliable 4x4 as our Volvo XC90 keeps getting stuck in our field. I'm considering either a Land Cruiser or a Nissan Pathfinder - which do you recommend?
